HENRY DEVERMONT
Henry Devermont was born in France. He met a beautiful woman named Ans and chased her all around Europe until they were married. Shortly after the Nazis invaded Europe, they were forced to flee to the United States. It was in the United States that Henry would enlist in the U.S. Army and return to France to fight the Nazis at Normandy.
After a few careers, Henry decided to go to Law School. After witnessing the injustices of Nazism, he sought to protect the liberties of his adopted country. Witnessing the horrors of Nazi-occupied Europe made Henry a U.S. Law enthusiast. He understood what happens when the government fails to respect its laws and sought to ensure this never happened in the United States.
DENNIS DEVERMONT
For Us, This Is Not A Job, But A Family Trade.
Dennis Devermont was born on an Army base in Missouri. Years later, he would join his father’s law firm, and they created the Law Offices of Devermont and Devermont.
Dennis Devermont adopted the philosophy of public service Henry Devermont had adhered to and taught. He felt two sentences should guide a law firm:
After practicing in many fields, he quickly decided to specialize in disability benefits cases. What appealed most to him about this field of law was the ability to help the most vulnerable in our society.
Since specializing in disability cases, he has represented the disabled in well over 30,000 claims for benefits. Dennis Devermont successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeal by demonstrating how the government violated the rights of the disabled.

DEREK DEVERMONT
Derek Devermont is the third generation of Devermont’s to represent disabled individuals in their pursuit of Social Security Disability and SSI benefits. When he wasn’t in school, he spent his childhood following his father and grandfather from courtroom to courtroom.
At age 7, Derek Devermont could be seen falling asleep in the back of courtrooms while his father argued cases. Every morning, Dennis Devermont would review cases with Derek and ask for legal theories. Derek Devermont wasn’t aware of it at the time, but his father was teaching him how to be a disability attorney. He now views those years following his father as the greatest gift a child could receive.
Much like his father and his grandfather, Derek Devermont believes a good life is one spent in the service of others. He can be seen in courtrooms across California fighting for the disabled and has been successful in thousands of cases.
Derek Devermont also volunteers at various homeless shelters to clear the obstacles that prevent the homeless from lifting themselves off the streets.
IT IS OUR OBLIGATION TO REMOVE THE STRESS OF PURSUING THE CASE SO CLIENTS CAN FOCUS ON GETTING BETTER.
